Frequently Asked Questions

What age range do you see?

I primarily provide services for children and young adults ranging in age from 2 years 6 months to 30 years, although I am available to conduct evaluations for individuals in middle adulthood as well.

What services do you offer?

Within my practice, I offer comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, executive functioning skill building, cognitive behavioral therapy, and consultation. Please click the tabs above for more information.

What if my child/student does not require a full neuropsychological evaluation?

At times a comprehensive evaluation is not necessary. For example, perhaps your child/student only requires a psychoeducational evaluation (i.e., IQ and academic testing) for educational planning purposes. Additional examples include a child requiring IQ testing as a prerequisite for their application to private school or perhaps a child who was previously evaluated but now requires additional, targeted testing to answer specific questions. When a comprehensive exam is not necessary, I am certainly able to provide focused evaluations as needed. Please make your specific needs known when scheduling your appointment.

What should I bring to the session?

Upon scheduling your session, I will provide you with a welcome letter that includes additional information regarding what to expect/bring to your appointment.

How long do sessions last?

Neuropsychological evaluations are conducted over two to three half-day sessions. An additional one-hour feedback session (either in person or by phone) is scheduled with families and/or school professionals after the report is finalized. Executive functioning skill building, therapy, and consultation sessions are typically 45-60 minutes.

How much do you charge for services?

Please contact me to discuss fees. At this time, I do not accept insurance directly. However, many insurance providers will reimburse at least partially for evaluations and I am happy to assist in facilitating the reimbursement process. Please note that payment is expected at the time of service.
